FAQ

Questions

How accurate is the AI mechanic?

It gives an informed first opinion from your description and photos, not an in-person inspection, so it can be wrong. Give it the year, make, model, engine and symptoms for the best answer, and have a mechanic confirm anything safety-related.

What is free?

The common issues library, OBD-II code guides, tips, maintenance planner and emergency guide are free. The mechanic map needs a free account. A new free account also gets 10 AI credits to try the AI mechanic, one time. To keep using the AI mechanic after that, and for My Garage, you need a Basic or Pro plan.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel in your profile and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. You are not charged again.

Do you keep my photos or chats?

Photos are never stored. Your 10 most recent chats stay in your browser so you can reopen them from History; they are not stored on our servers. On Basic and Pro you can press Save to keep a chat with one of your cars in My Garage.
